A great diversity of plant species in the world is found in these forests formed by trees with different sizes, straight trunks and covered with numerous epiphytes, climbers, shrubs and herbaceous plants. An artificial waterfall simulating the water inside the rocks of the mountains adds an additional attraction to this pavilion.

In these forests there are very diverse environments that welcome a whole world of living beings, standing out from leafy tree ferns to the small mosses that cover the leaves, the flowery begonias, the heliconias, the large-leafed azaleas, the bromeliads, the palms and the tiny peperomias. In Cuba these forests are found in the main mountain ranges at altitudes higher than 800 meters above sea level.
